Wyborowa Vodka — Poland's Historic Rye Classic Since 1927
Rye 37.5% ABV ABV Polmos PoznanBlown away by this vodka
Bought this on the strength of the review here and I'm so glad I did. The a subtle bread-crust note on the nose are subtle but present, and the palate delivers — a gentle warmth with sweet cereal. The finish has Short to medium that proves vodka is far from flavourless. Hats off to Polmos Poznan — this is exceptional craft. Already on my second bottle.
Stunning quality
What a beautifully crafted spirit. The nose gives you a subtle bread-crust note and lovely character, and on the palate it's all about a gentle warmth. The mouthfeel is particularly impressive — silky, full, and rewarding. The finish rounds everything off with Short to medium. Anyone who says all vodka tastes the same hasn't tried this. The review here nails it.
A real gem
Picked this up after reading the review here and it's everything they said and more. The cereal sweetness drew me in from the first pour. On the palate, a gentle warmth are elegant rather than aggressive — exactly what you want from a quality vodka. The Short to medium is clean and inviting. Makes a brilliant Martini and equally good sipped neat. This will be a permanent fixture on my shelf.
A standout bottle
Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you cereal sweetness — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with Understated but well-balanced — an excellent cocktail mixer and the rye character shines through. The Short to medium. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from Polmos Poznan.
