Black Cow is one of the most genuinely innovative spirits of the past decade. The world's first vodka made entirely from milk, it is produced in West Dorset by separating curds from whey and fermenting the latter. The result is astonishingly creamy, beautifully smooth, and entirely unique.

Bought this on the strength of the review here and I'm so glad I did. The with a gentle lactose sweetness and subtle vanilla on the nose are subtle but present, and the palate delivers — Utterly distinctive with wonderful texture. The finish has Medium-length with a clean that proves vodka is far from flavourless. Hats off to Black Cow Distillery — this is exceptional craft. Already on my second bottle.
