8/10Cambridge Distillery distils farm-harvested lemon verbena into their Meadow Mist wheat vodka for a beautifully aromatic, small-batch spirit. The gin-maker's approach to flavoured vodka, and it shows.

View All (3)The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got herbal garden notes and clean wheat and bright citrus. On the palate, the herbal complexity and a clean is beautifully done, and the lemon zest and a fresh. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.
18 June 2026Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you bright citrus — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with herbal complexity and a clean and the wheat character shines through. The lemon zest and a fresh. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from Cambridge Distillery.
16 May 2026Decent vodka for the price. The nose is clean — I got the Fresh lemon verbena that the review mentions — but the palate didn't wow me. The crisp backbone is fine but nothing special, and I'd have preferred more character coming through. That said, the green close is clean enough. Works well in cocktails where you don't need a premium bottle.
