Tasting Notes

Nose

Intensely aromatic with bright Seville orange marmalade, bitter peel, and a gentle toasty sweetness. There is a wonderful breakfast-table nostalgia to it.

Palate

Rich and full-bodied, with tangy orange marmalade balanced by Chase's characteristically creamy potato base. Bitter orange peel and a touch of caramelised sugar keep things sophisticated.

Finish

Long and warming with lingering bitter orange and a gentle sweetness that recalls toast and marmalade.

Expert Review

8/10

Chase has produced something genuinely special here. Their Seville Orange Marmalade vodka is a triumph of flavoured spirit-making — real, intense, and brilliantly balanced. The original limited release sold out instantly, and it is easy to see why.

Jake Morrison VIPsAllowed — Disappointing for the price
5/10

Bit disappointed. The nose is fine — I got some Intensely aromatic with bright Seville orange marmalade — but on the palate it's too one-dimensional. At £30.50, I expect more character. The finish drops off quickly. The tasting notes in the review didn't match my experience. Might work better in cocktails than neat.

Grace Kim VIPsAllowed — My new favourite vodka

Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with bitter peel — I also picked up a gentle toasty sweetness that the review mentions. On the palate, Rich and full-bodied is spot on, and there's a richness that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with a satisfying warmth. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.

Not terrible but not worth the premium. The nose promised Intensely aromatic with bright Seville orange marmalade and bitter peel, but the palate is flat and the finish disappears too quickly. I've had better vodkas at half the price. The Rich and full-bodied the review describes wasn't apparent to me. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.
