Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with the peppery backbone of the rye base — I also picked up Sweet ripe plum that the review mentions. On the palate, the characteristic Kavka rye warmth is spot on, and there's a gentle spice that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with Medium. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.

Mixed feelings. On the nose I got the Sweet ripe plum — that part is nice. But the the characteristic Kavka rye warmth didn't match the promise for me. Mid-palate feels a bit thin. Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the Medium is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.
