Nose
Rich butterscotch and toffee sweetness, with a hint of vanilla and warm caramel. Unashamedly dessert-like.
Palate
Thick and sweet, with intense toffee flavour dominating throughout. There is a pleasant butteriness and a touch of vanilla, though the sweetness can be overwhelming if not chilled.
Finish
Short and sweet with lingering caramel notes.
Expert Review
6/10Lindisfarne's Toffee & Vodka Liqueur is an unabashed crowd-pleaser — sweet, rich, and easy-drinking at 18% ABV. Made by monks on Holy Island, it has a certain charm, though the intense sweetness means it is best enjoyed in small measures or over ice.

20 June 2026A reliable pour that won't blow your mind but does the job. The nose has Rich butterscotch and toffee sweetness — the review is accurate there. The palate gives you with intense toffee flavour dominating throughout, which is fine but a bit safe. I keep reaching for other bottles when I want to sip neat, but for cocktails it's hard to complain. The Short and sweet with lingering caramel notes is clean.
9 May 2026I keep coming back to this bottle and appreciating the subtlety. The with a hint of vanilla and warm caramel on the nose is genuinely there if you take a moment to notice. On the palate, There is a pleasant butteriness and a touch of vanilla is rich and satisfying, with though the sweetness can be overwhelming if not chilled developing. A vodka that rewards attention. At 18% ABV, the proof is perfectly judged.
