I'd never tried anything from this distillery before and I'm genuinely impressed. Beautiful clarity in the glass, complex aromas of fresh herbs and mineral water, and a palate with wonderful weight and a long, clean finish. There's a subtle earthiness that gives it real personality.

What strikes me most is the balance. It's clean enough for a classic Martini but has enough body and character to sip neat. Lovely soft texture, hints of anise and white chocolate on the nose, and a palate that's both silky and precise. Equally at home in a cocktail bar or a quiet evening at home.

But it's far from boring: there's a gorgeous creamy texture, delicate notes of vanilla and toasted grain, and a finish that goes on and on with gentle warmth.
