Tasting Notes

Nose

Exceptionally clean and pure, with barely a whisper of grain sweetness and the faintest hint of fresh spring water. Practically odourless in the best possible sense.

Palate

Silky smooth with a remarkably clean mouthfeel. Subtle cereal sweetness from the barley emerges mid-palate, with glacial mineral notes providing understated depth.

Finish

Clean and crisp with a gentle warmth that dissipates quickly, leaving almost no aftertaste.

Expert Review

8/10

Koskenkorva is one of vodka's best-kept secrets. Distilled an absurd 250 times from their own barley fields and blended with glacier water, this Finnish gem delivers purity that rivals spirits costing twice as much. Exceptional value.

One of the most well-crafted vodkas I've tasted. The Practically odourless in the best possible sense promises quality, and the palate delivers with Silky smooth with a remarkably clean mouthfeel. Nothing feels harsh or out of place. The leaving almost no aftertaste ties it all together. I tried it neat, chilled, and in a Moscow Mule — it shines in all three. The finnish barley base gives it a distinctive character. Can't recommend it highly enough.
