I can see why people rate this but it's not quite my favourite. The Clean and fresh is clean — really approachable — but the palate is a touch too neutral for my preferences. The Pure and smooth is smooth and easy, which makes it good for vodka newcomers. I was expecting a bit more character given the editorial score.

As someone who's been appreciating quality vodka for years, this is among the finest I've encountered at this price point. On the nose I get sweetness and a mineral quality from the Dutch water — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: Pure and smooth with beautiful texture. Rutte Distillery has clearly mastered their craft.
